| Self Storage Auction Pro's principal has nearly a decade of experience in the management self storage auction processes with Universal Management Company. Universal Management Company has been managing self storage facilities throughout the United States for the last fifteen years. Over the last fifteen years they have conducted over 3,000 auctions. Self Storage Auction Pro has been developed over a two year period at UMC. The auction process that the UMC had refined and used was a manual system with many checks and balances. UMC facility managers were responsible for writing up the notice of foreclosure to be sent to all tenants that were 30 days past due. This process was very time consuming with a large percentage of the past due tenants being lettered month after month. The mangers were looking to a way to reduce the time involved in the letter process. UMC's auctioneers were who were responsible for legal compliance were looking for a program that would eliminate any errors that might cause the sale to not be legal. The goal of the program has always been to reduce the time involved in the required letter and newspaper process, and eliminate potential errors. Over the last two years that UMC's facilities have been using the program there have been many suggestions, improvements and revisions.
